DUBAI4X4, brought in more excitement with the Fifth DUBAI4X4 Top of the Dune Challenge Sponsored by MotorTech.

Each year, this event is held for the extreme off-roaders and those who wish to test their resourcefulness while dune bashing.

This year, The winners were awarded trophies & MotorTech products at the end of the event and all participants received a special give away items.

Every competitor for the Fifth MotorTech Top of the Dune Challenge was required to visit a set of waypoints in the shortest time, running the shortest distance.

Each waypoint was marked with a MotorTech flag and was named after one of MotorTech’s Products. The one with the least odometer reading and the best timing was declared the winner. Each contender brought his own car or participated as a passenger in a 4x4. They were also required to have a GPS, a digital camera or a camera phone.

The event was open to all the DUBAI4X4 members who could drive up a dune. The event was held in Sweihan with 50 challengers fighting heat, sun, soft sand and big dunes. However all Crew Members of DUBAI4X4 were not allowed to take part as it would not be fair to the other participants

It was a very exciting and challenging event as for the winners.

This year as always there was a special category for Xtreme Off-Roaders Fastest Time, which was won by Car # 35, a Nissan Patrol Driven by Charbel Hage in a time of 3 Hours are 3 Mins. This is the 1^st time Charbel Competes in the event as a solo entry
